Good mix of migrants this morning at Camp Tomahawk.
Seen early (8:30):
Red-eyed Vireo (many)
Amer. Redstart (2 males, 2 females)
Black-throated-Blue Warbler (male, female)
Wilson's Warbler (female)
Then, on another walk at 10:30:
Magnolia Warbler (male)
Golden-winged Warbler (adult male) And may I die and go
to Heaven on this one !
Then back in my yard at the drip and waterfall:
Parula Warbler (male and female)
Eastern Wood Pewee (a new drip and waterfall species for
me; also feeding on firespike and ginger blooms.
Baltimore Oriole (2 adult males, 1 female)
I'll be turning on a sprinkler this afternoon to see what else might show up. Of course, Bama will be playing Florida at the same time, so it'll probably be at halftime. Ok, you Gators, don't be too hard on us.
