The Bridled and Sooty Terns have kept us entertained all day today, but
when I last wrote about them, I said 'the day isn't over yet.' How
prophetic! Shortly thereafter, I went down on the deck to see if the pier
was still there (it was), and a Brown Booby flew by. Not only that, but
he flew by a number of times during the afternoon and Bob and I were able
to show it to several other birders along with the terns. This is quite
unusual to have "inshore" and even more odd to have in Pensacola Bay.
It was Yard Bird # 271......
Still stormy and gusty around here.
