24 OCT 01

I saw a Rufous-type Hummer at my feeder, my 3rd this fall.

Seemingly a pair, my White-winged Doves are still coming to the
feeders.  (others about also).

Yesterday's Black-headed Grosbeak returned today.  Jim Cavanagh saw it this
morning.  My efforts to "digiscope" it have been futile.  I am not smart
enuff.   JD
