You could check the list archives on this. As I recall, it was discussed not
long ago, and thoroughly.

I think the results, in a nutshell, were that no, the 1998 survey has not
been updated, and it will not be updated by ARMA. There were also various
criticisms of the 1998 survey as to statistical validity, etc.
