After a long hard week in the Information Management world, I was planning a
weekend of entertaining guests for the Thanksgiving holiday, I made a list
of things I needed to do, including taking food out of the freezer and
grocery shopping. I taped it to the dashboard of my car, as I had much
running around to do.

As it happened, this was also the same weekend my old boss was in town, and
I'd promised him we could meet for dinner and take in an Ottawa Senators
hockey game here at the Corel Centre.

When I picked up him up at his hotel in Ottawa, he got into my car, took a
look at my list on the dash, and his face dropped ... "Thanks a lot!" he
sulked.

I glanced at my list and saw the first item: "Take out the Turkey!"
