I'm attempting to calculate the number of active CRMs who work in the private legal environment, e.g., law firms and corporate legal departments. The ICRM has been able to provide me with accurate figures for the current number of active CRMs worldwide. However, apparently there is no way for them (or for me) to count up the number of CRMs currently working in law firms and legal departments, because the membership records of the ICRM list most members by their home addresses, not their work addresses.
If you are a CRM working in a law firm or corporate legal department, I'd appreciate it very much if you would reply back to me personally, providing your name and your employer's name. The purpose of my request is to try to determine whether or not legal records managers are earning the CRM in proportion to their general representation in ARMA, as evidenced by membership in the legal services ISG. Thanks very much for your assistance.
