There are several associations for Registers of Deed, County Clerks and
County Recorders.  Most are state specific associations, however.  If you
are interested on national organizations to which Registers and Clerks
belong, there are two or three.  They include:  IACREOT (The International
Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials and Treasurers).   They
will meet in Cleveland, Ohio in June.  I am uncertain about whether or not
they have a web site or not, but you might wish to check that out.  The
other is a sub-grouping of the National Association of Counties (NACO).
This sub-group is known as NACRC (The National Association of Clerks and
Recorders).  They will meet in Charlotte, NC. in July.  As for listservs
that may deal with the concerns of Registers and Clerks, I'm not aware of
any, but you may find some that are sponsored by one of the groups noted
above.
