Under no circumstances should you permit felt tip pens to be used.  We have found that the ink spreads and makes some signatures illegible.  Ball point ink with a medium or fine point is best.

We are scanning signature cards at the bank ... are there other things we should be passing down to our branches to assure we get a good quality signature that scans well the first time?
