Fear not too greatly, I bird Babcock/Webb WMA often. There is indeed a firing
range there, about a quarter mile in on the left. The site is very small and
restricted, birding the great pinewoods cna be excellent. There is no
shooting allowed outside of this area, at least not legally, except in
hunting season for quail in another resticted area that is fenced off to the
casual visitor.
