Might want to use the Internet a bit. How about contacting Sothebys in New
York or PBS "Antiques Road Show".
Guess the point is not to get in a hurry. If the organization chooses to
donate the newspapers to a museum or library for the recognition make sure
there is some kind of contract to assure the newspapers will be taken care
of properly. Lot's to consider just my two punts worth; which happen to be
worthless with the advent of the euro :)

You can tell her these a re likely worth no more than the cost of postage
and packing, and I'd be GLAD to take them off her hands, get them out of
her way, relieve her of the burden of storing them, releasing the space for
better use, etc....
