Subject: Records Management Training Program

Hello everyone!
Does anyone of you have a good comprehensive Records Management Training
Plan/Program for your companies/work place that you could share with me?

Part of the plan on my efforts to help educate my agency's staff on records
management, is to put together a formal records management training program
for management, staff, and records staff. I am looking to put in place a
sort of curriculum that would be comprehensive enough to give everyone an
understanding from basic records management to electronic records
management. Something that would help them understand the importance of good
records management practices for doing their jobs. Records management is not
usually a priority and I need to make people understand why they need to
keep records management in mind as they go about doing their jobs.

With electronic records, e-mail records, etc, the Enrons, Arthur Andersen,
etc being on the spotlight lately, people have been asking more and more
questions about records management including the very basic concept. I want
to take advantage of the momentum to start training staff and raise
awareness on the importance of records management. That being said, I'm
looking for anything that could help me get a head start for a good training
program. Any help, examples, or program you have that you can share would
really be appreciated!
