First time responder--long time reader...
My title is Records & Information Specialist and some of my duties
include the managment/control of the corporate records and the record
retention schedules, conduct annual records audits, work closley with
the departmental record contacts to advise them on retention length,
etc., and coordinate the storage, retrieval, and disposition of the
records with our records technician. We also have a controlled forms
program at our company where I create, maintain, and "control" the
corporate forms. I also conduct annual forms audits and work closely
with the departmental forms contacts regarding their forms. This also
includes working with our Procurement department for ordering forms that
are printed outside of our company. I am a member of ARMA and the
Newletter Editor for our Fox Valley/Green Bay ARMA chapter. Other
non-record/form duties I have include being on many internal project
teams and "clubs", and am also an internal ISO auditor for our company
as we are certified to ISO14001. What was the question?--Hope this
helps.

This is sort of a tough request to respond to... one would have to
assume
this is a position in an established hierarchy within a Records
Management
Group. Depending upon the duties of the positions "above and below"
this
position, it's difficult to provide any insights into what a position
with
this title would have as "general responsibilities."

I guess it would be safe to assume it would fall somewhere between a
"Records Generalist" and a "Records Expert" =)
