This March, you're invited to join the National Archives (Mid Atlantic Region) in Philadelphia for two records management workshops.
Tuesday, March 4 "Planning for Digital Imaging Success" In this full day workshop (9 am * 4 pm), you'll learn strategies for planning a successful digital imaging project, with information on the functional, legal, and technical requirements for scanning in the Federal government. We'll discuss the need for imaging, how the technology works, advantages and disadvantages, system components, and indexing. Get details on:
- What digital imaging is - How to determine if scanning is the right solution for you - Business process and requirements analysis - Records management, IT, and program responsibilities - Where to look for help

Wednesday, March 5 "Organize Your Work Life!" This half-day workshop (9 am * noon) offers hope to everyone who has ever lost an important document or missed a deadline because of misplaced information. Put your career on the fast track! Learn how to:
- Deal with the flood of incoming information - Keep your office pile-free - Put your hands on documents quickly - Satisfy your agency's legal requirements - Find free assistance for more complex problems
Both workshops will be held in Center City Philadelphia at the Nix Federal Building, Chestnut Street Entrance, 900 Market Street. The cost for "Planning for Digital Imaging Success" is $125; the cost for "Organize Your Work Life!" is $50.
