Use the search feature of the listserv archives for past RAIN
postings. Besides monetary fines one should also consider the bad publicity that may arise from the failure to properly
dispose of confidential information. In the past I have posted stories about bank microfiche found along a highway, in just yesterday's posting there is a story about a gambler who failed to shred his records that were found in dumpster,and used forms with personal information still visible being recycled into notepads and many more.
