This is a reminder that you are invited to hear Ed Skoudis, of Predictive
Systems, speak on IT security Friday, June 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the Reitz
Union. His talk will focus on attack trends, with some recommendations on
how to protect against attacks based on the UF risk assessment.

Speaker: Ed Skoudis, VP of Security Strategy, Predictive Systems
Our speaker is one of the best speakers on IT security and has performed
numerous security assessments, designed secure network architectures, and
responded to computer attacks for clients in the financial,
high-technology, healthcare, and other industries. Ed is a frequent
speaker on issues associated with hacker tools and defenses, and has
published several articles on these topics, as well as the Prentice Hall
book, Counter Hack and the interactive CD-ROM Hack-Counter Hack.
Ed is also author of the popular "Crack the Hacker Challenge" series, which
challenges InfoSec professionals to learn from others' mistakes.
Additionally, Ed conducted a demonstration of hacker techniques against
financial institutions for the United States Senate.
