The St. Louis Chapter of ARMA will present a One-Day Seminar on Tuesday,
November 18th, 2003: Records Compliance Today
Featured Speakers:
Legal Compliance Considerations - Peter Sloan of Blackwell Sanders Peper
Martin LLP. Peter will discuss changes in the litigation/regulatory
environment, the impact of electronic evidence discovery and six major
keys to proper records compliance.
Computers and the Law - In Defense of the Hard Drive and In Defense of
the Delete Key. The Honorable James M. Rosenbaum, Chief Judge, United
States District Court. Judge Rosenbaum is a recognized authority on
computer privacy issues, and the intersection of computers and the law.
He lectures frequently on privacy and trial issues.
Technical Considerations - Bruce Karlson, Word-Tech Business Systems.
Bruce will discuss utilizing technology to minimize litigation risks,
the concept of "Life Cycle Records Management", and enforcing corporate
retention policies with employees.
Time: 8:15 - 4:00 p.m.
Location: St. Louis Zoo Living World Facility, 1 Government Drive, St.
Louis, Missouri.
