Fifty years ago residents in outback Australia used the famous "pedal
radio" to access the Flying Doctor service, Radio School of the Air etc.
So get out your exercise bike, hook it up to an alternator and off you go.
Think about it. I can see teams of super-fit RM staff thundering away
keeping their PPDMS (Pedal-Powered Document Management Systems) going at
all costs while the hurricane / bushfire / war rages outside. Brings new
meaning to the term "workstation". You could even become a profit centre
by selling the surplus power generated by your staff training sessions.
The possibilities are endless.

Got to stop now, pulse is up to 190 and three of my staff are queueing up
to use the treadmill.
Cheers

Given who Glenn works for, I am worried... VERY worried.
At least they are using a renewable energy source - after all, records
management types are cheap labour, are they not?
And Glenn... I didnt think you could remember the RFDS pedal wirelesses -
you are not that old, surely.
