Call For Nominations
Outside Directors for the ARMA International Board of Directors
July 2004 - June 2005

The make up of the ARMA Board of Directors includes two directors from
outside of the membership of ARMA International. These directors are
selected from member nominations and then recommended for appointment
and approval by the full board, based upon experience and their unique
perspective. The initial appointment is for a one-year term, with the
ability to be re-appointed for two additional terms, for a maximum of
three years.

The board's Outside Director Search Committee is now seeking nominations
for one outside director for the term July 1, 2004 - June 30, 2005. If
you wish to nominate an individual, please submit the following no later
than December 31, 2003.

*       Name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and fax number
of
        the individual nominated
*       Nominee's employer and current position
*       Your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address
*       A brief narrative (up to 300 words) explaining why the nominated
        individual would be a positive and effective member of the Board
of      Directors

As a reference, outside directors should meet the following criteria:

*       Must NOT be a current member of ARMA International
*       Experience in information management, business, technology,
        research, consulting, and/or academia
*       Willingness to participate in open dialogue with ARMA
leadership,
        staff, and members as necessary
*       Membership in other outside information management and/or
business
        professional associations
*       Ability to communicate well both orally and in written form
        desirable
*       Ability to think strategically and understand multi-dimensional
        organizational dynamics
*       Be available to attend two board meetings per year, one in April
and
        the other at conference, as well as participate in monthly
conference      calls of the board.
