I have no experience in the legal industry. However, RIM is RIM; and
a records manager in the DC area should have a salary range starting
at least 20K higher than that you listed; salary range should start at
about $75,000 per year.

My organization is currently in the process of reviewing all Records
related positions and salaries. I am interested in knowing whether or
not the salaries listed below are within industry standards for
mid-sized to large law firms, particularly Washington DC metro

Records Manager: 12 + years experience; $55,000 to
$75,000: Staff of twelve records employees
Records Coordinator: 1 to 3 years experience; $35,000 to
$42,000:
Senior Records Clerk: 3+ years experience; $32,000 to
$35,000.
Legal Filing Assistants: 3+ years experience; Same as
Senior Records Clerk's salary
Off-Site Storage Specialist: Same as Senior Records
Clerk's salary
Records Clerks: 6 months to 2 yrs experience: $25,000
to $30,000
