The Honors Program is looking for students who want to get more involved
with the Honors Program and help represent it at an upcoming conference.
Interested students should be knowledgeable about at least one or several
aspects of the UF Honors Program and want to help the program by bringing in
new ideas and talents. Past experience in the Student Honors Organization or
Honors Ambassadors is not required, and any student interested in becoming
more involved with the Honors Program should apply. Accepted students will
attend the conference from November 10 to 14, 2004 and must be able to give
a brief 20 minute presentation to a small group of people at the conference
about an important aspect of the UF Honors Program of their choosing. Topics
can include anything ranging from Hume, to honors advising, SHO, honors
courses, etc. This is also a good opportunity to help improve UF and gain
valuable public-speaking skills. Interested students should fill out a brief
application at http://www.honors.ufl.edu/oppform2004.html
<http://www.honors.ufl.edu/oppform2004.html> and submit it on-line by
Monday, April 12, by 4:30pm. Again, a long list of campus activities is not
necessary, but dedication to bettering the UF Honors Program and genuine
interest are. If you have any questions, e-mail [log in to unmask]
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> .
