Quick question about dichotomizing relations ...
I am working with a large matrix that has valued relations that measure
the strength between vertices. I have some theoretical as well as
intuitive justification for dichotomizing the relations at a certain
value, but I am not satisfied with this decision.
Any thoughts on how I can statistically bolster this decision? What can
I do to make sure that the value at which I am dichotomizing is legit?
Thanks in advance for any help.
