I am sending the following invitation on in case any groups in the Florida panhandle/big bend area are interested in participating. Please call the park with any questions you have as I am not involved with this and do not have any other information.

April 15-17,
2004 550 Wakulla Park Drive
Wakulla Springs, FL 32327-0390

March 11, 2004

Dear Prospective Exhibitor:

You are invited to participate as an exhibitor and/or to make a presentation at the “Wakulla Wildlife Festival.” This event is scheduled for Saturday, April 17th at Wakulla Springs State Park. The event will focus on issues related to the environment, Florida’s wildlife (with emphasis on songbirds), wildlife viewing and conservation. We are encouraging organizations with exhibits and/or programs (not vendors) related to the above listed issues to join us. Displays and presentations should concentrate on education and information.

Exhibitors are scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., so please arrive with enough time to have your exhibit set up by 9:00 a.m. New this year Exhibitors will be in the picnic area, under tents to afford shade from sun or shelter from rain. Also, you are encouraged to make a 15 to 30 minute presentation or demonstration (or one in the morning and one in the afternoon), adjacent to the exhibit area, on a small outdoor stage. , where electricity and a sound system will be provided. If you require an indoor setting, we can schedule your presentation in the Pavilion (new this year).

Space is available on a first come, first served basis. Every effort will be made to provide tables and chairs to those who cannot bring their own. Electrical services are limited, so please indicate on the attached application form if it is needed.

Food and drink will be available from the lodge snack bar and restaurant. Ample restroom facilities are available in the park. If you have special needs to enable your full participation, please let us know at least two weeks in advance of the event.

Please mail or fax the park to let us know if you wish to participate.

Thank you for your participation in these educational and fun events.

Sincerely,

Robert Thompson, Park Services Specialist
Wakulla Springs State Park & Lodge
