Hi Birders!
I was in Orlando last week (12-15) on business and my wife and daughter (10
months) joined me. We birded around Kissimmee a bit and then on the weekend
made a trip to Loxahatchee NWR (april 16), the Miami area (april 17) and the
Everglades (april 18). As usual we enjoyed the spectacular climate (at least in
april) and wonderful birds of Florida!
Some highlights (for details see http://www.ima.umn.edu/~zajic/birds.html,
which is rather terse now but will be updated in the next couple days; I'm slow
at these things).
Brinson Park was great. We spent a couple of hours there on april 13 and 14
and saw almost the same birds both days. This park is GREAT (so many of my
favorites)!!!
