Jeannie Girard sends the following question about a photo is posted at

"This is a photo I took at the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge in February. I
had seen a male Blue Winged Teal that had the green color under his wings
that a Green winged Teal would have. Is this a result of interbreeding, or
is it a mutation?"
