Gmail is a fantastic free email program, BUT it has one problem.
Replies default back to the sender rather than to listservs. As yet I
have not found a workaround for this. So if you see a message to the
listserv from a gmail account and you want to reply to the posting, be
sure to check your to line. Make sure the "To" line reads
[log in to unmask] and not <name>@[log in to unmask]

if you want the response to go to the gmail account only change the
subject line to read "private reply" or some such
