Hi all,
A quick run to Green Key around 8 am produced the following birds:
On the beach, mostly huddled together in a flock feeding and snoozing:
1 Laughing Gull
1 Forster's Tern
1 Great-blue Heron
1 Yellow-crowned Night-Heron
1 Reddish Egret
2 White Ibis
10 Willet
9 Ruddy Turnstones
8 Semipalmated Plovers
2 Black-bellied Plovers
2 Whimbrel
2 Marbled Godwits
6 Short-billed Dowitchers
2 Semipalmated Sandpipers
1 Least Sandpiper
2 Western Sandpipers
3 Sanderlings
Around the parking lot:
1 Eastern Kingbird
2 Yellow Warblers (adult male and female)
several Prairie Warblers
Common ground Doves
Mourning Doves
Redwings
And in the marsh:
1 Marsh Wren
Prairie Warblers
2 Yellow Warblers (1st year and adult male)
Redwings
