RE:     "RENAISSANCE FACULTY" NOMINATIONS DUE 23 MARCH 2006


The best teachers lead by example. Do you have a faculty mentor who excels
in his/her professional realm while also leading a full, well-rounded life?
The UF Faculty Senate is cosponsoring a lunch with the UF Graduate Student
Council to celebrate exceptional "renaissance" faculty members.  We see this
as an opportunity to highlight the importance of developing a balanced life
while in graduate school by spotlighting faculty members who set high
standards for themselves both professionally /and/ personally.  Please
consider nominating a faculty member whose life accomplishments -- not just
professional accomplishments -- inspire you. Nominations are due Thursday,
23 March 2006 by 5:00 p.m.  More information about how to make a nomination
