Just 3 or 4.
I'm in the HSC and I can't even get a Google page to search for info on
Macromedia Contribute. We have connectivity problems.
We'd like the users to be able to login with their browser pretty much
anywhere. I assume that Contribute is tied in with DreamWeaver or
another product. We don't need the complications or expense. It's a very
simple site.

How many users will be updating this site? I use Macromedia Contribute
for some of my sites and it allows my user(s) to update sites without
having to recreate them in a CMS.

Subject: Simple WYSIWYG Content Management with LDAP?
I just inherited a website. I'm looking for a very simple CMS that
authenticates with LDAP. Most of the offerings are to complex with
database requirements, complex theme management, and modules for
everything under the sun.
There a product Page Publisher (www.interactivetools.com) that does
exactly what I want, but uses its own authentication. A few folders and
files go into the CGI-BIN and elsewhere. Tags go before and after the
content you want to make editable in your HTML pages. Logging to the
Admin page gives you a list of available pages based on your rights, and
provides a TinyMCE page to edit content for each page.
However, we could use LDAP authentication. Does anyone have any
suggestions? Free and open source is best of course.
