I just inherited a website. I'm looking for a very simple CMS that
authenticates with LDAP. Most of the offerings are to complex with
database requirements, complex theme management, and modules for
everything under the sun.
There a product Page Publisher (www.interactivetools.com) that does
exactly what I want, but uses its own authentication. A few folders and
files go into the CGI-BIN and elsewhere. Tags go before and after the
content you want to make editable in your HTML pages. Logging to the
Admin page gives you a list of available pages based on your rights, and
provides a TinyMCE page to edit content for each page.
However, we could use LDAP authentication. Does anyone have any
suggestions? Free and open source is best of course.
