Good morning from a lurker with a question.
I am trying to figure out the variety of places Universities put their
Records Management programs within the organization. Where do you report?
Our RM originally reported to the Univ. Librarian. Following her departure
the institution looked at moving the position under the Financial V.P., but
left it in the library and placed it under my department. Then, as luck
would have it, the funding was pulled for the position and the duties ended
up with me.
We are now re-examining the future of the program and I am trying to
discover where others place their RM programs in the institution.
