Howdy Yall,
A little more activity on the Refuge. On my way to work I'm seeing peeps, Short-billed Dowitchers, Black-bellied Plovers, Rudy Turnstones, Yellowlegs, Willets, Caspian Terns, Common Tern, Royal Terns, Black Terns, Forester Terns, Least Terns, and lot of the wadders. The Great White Heron continues feeding in the same area, and today I saw my first 2 Red Knots. I got an ID shot of them. Check the grasses floated up against the banks along the rivers, and you'll probably see shore birds. Marshes area pretty high still.
