The Florida Society of the Social Sciences would like to invite you to attend the 5th Annual Conference of the Social Sciences, which will take place at UF this Saturday, Oct. 3.
 
In accordance with the topic of this year's conference, "Exploring Diversity in the Social Sciences", the conference will host paper and poster presentations  on various topics: culture, crime, families, identity, sports, environment, health, conflict, politics, etc.
 
The conference will also host the Community Action Fair (12:30-1:30pm), in which nonprofit organizations will showcase their work.
 
The conference starts at 9:00am and finishes at 4:00pm. It will take place at two venues: Smathers Library (East), Room 1A and Anderson Hall.
