for those of you who think that I am totally clueless about what happens in a legal environment I am well aware that conflicts is a part of the RM function in many law firms (and increasingly so)
My point and maybe it was overly subtle is that folks need to be carefully where they post messages especially if it is a reply to what someone else posted on another list.. In this case the original poster inadvertently posted their response to this list instead of to the original list.
