Archives Manager for a Global Financial Institution in Washington, DC!

TRAK Records and Library is seeking an experienced Archives Manager for a long term opportunity with a global financial institution in Washington, DC. In this role, you would be responsible for the management and maintenance of the archives and supervision of the archives staff. Primary tasks include developing policies and procedures to address the accessibility, integrity, and security of the archives collection as well as the preservation of digital assets and working with the staff to apply international standards to organizing paper and digital archival materials. You would also be responsible for developing and implementing finding aids and liaising with the Archives Officers to identify material eligible for declassification.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a Master's Degree in Information or Library Science, a Certified Archivist or second master's degree in a related field is preferred, at least five years of experience in archives or records management, familiarity with international standards for archives management and their application, experience managing both paper and electronic archival material, and experience managing a team.
