While walking the beach at Lori Wilson this evening, I noticed a large feeding frenzy just past the breakers with about 100 Northern Gannet(mostly second and third year birds), and the same number of Brown Pelicans.
Migrant birds in the hammock are almost non-existent with only a female Painted Bunting and a male Indigo, just starting to get some blue color. I hope they can avoid the two feral cats there.
I saw around 30 Chimney Swifts overhead plus a Purple Martin.
