He's baaaack !
The Green-tailed Towhee is back at Ft. Pickens (Gulf Islands Nat'l Seashore) almost one year to the day from when we found it last year. It was found a short while ago by Alex Harper, Patrick James and Chris James on the bike trail at Ft. Pickens in the exact same place it spent last winter. 

Park in the parking lot near the kiosk close to the main fort. Walk east along the trail that starts at the kiosk. It is in the vicinity of the bench that is not far east of the slight curve in the trail. 

So, if you are kicking yourself for missing this rarity last winter, you've been given a reprieve!
