The goal of the Program is to further the professional preparation of students to have a true competitive edge through a focus on professionally-oriented training programs and activities. One objective of the program is to facilitate interdisciplinary research collaboration between graduate students from different disciplines. This award is intended to:

-- Encourage graduate students to involve undergraduate students in research activities.
The competition is open to graduate students from across the university; each team must include at least one member from the STEM, including SBE, disciplines.
