The following Welcome Week events for honors students are sponsored by the Student Honors Organization. All events take place at Hume. All honors students from freshmen to seniors are invited to participate, and you don't have to be living at Hume to do so.

Casino Royale: Shaken not Stirred at 8:00pm.
The first SHO Production of the year. There will be Mocktails, Poker Games, and Casino Royale playing. Come down to the commons to make some new friends here at UF.

Crafts and Cupcakes at 3:00pm.
Come on down to the Hume classroom to make cool crafts and/or eat a tasty cupcake. We also have fresh-baked offerings from Midnight Cookies! Make magic-scratch gators and picture frames, and glam up your free IRHA glasses.

Color Wars at 2:00pm.
Come out behind Hume to tie dye your Student Honors Organizations t-shirt and participate in an all-out Paint WAR. The paint will be washable, but we still suggest wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. There will even be a tug-of-war with a paint pool at the center.

Honors Invades GatorNights at 8:00pm.
Anyone who wants to attend GatorNights can meet in the Hume Commons to walk over to the Reitz Union. GatorNights! is the leading late night program in the Southeast and takes place every Friday night during the Fall, Spring, and Summer B semesters. The program offers FREE first run movies, bands, comedians, improv shows, arts and crafts, novelties, interactive games, cultural events, interactive lectures, dances, DJ's, artists, video game tournaments, popcorn and soda, and most importantly FREE midnight breakfast!

Ultimate Frisbee at 1:00pm.
Whether you are a seasoned Ultimate pro or have never touched a frisbee in your life, this is the event for you. The UF Ultimate team will be split among the different teams allowing each to be competitive. Come out for a great time!

Wondering what comes after all of those gen eds? Want a sneak peek at who's going to be sitting next to you in your chem class? Come down to Hume Commons to meet some honors student veterans and some of your neighbors who share your major. Share your own plans while gathering knowledge from some of the brightest and most dedicated students at UF. Meet and make friends with the people who've been in your shoes, and take some advice home along with your free refreshments!

SHO Barbecue at 2:00pm.
FREE! Come on out for our annual SHO Barbecue. The event is catered by Sonny's Barbecue, and there will also be a vegetarian option. We will also have a game of mega-twister and music playing. This is a SHO tradition that you don't want to miss.
