Boulder-based Gnip helping transfer Twitter archives to Library of Congress

As Twitter transfers billions of public tweets to the U.S. Library of
Congress for a historic archival project, the data transfer services are
being provided by Boulder-based Gnip, the company announced today.

Gnip is a provider of social media data, including realtime Twitter data for
businesses purposes. Because of Gnip's experience handling large amounts of
Twitter data, the social media company turned to Gnip to handle the Library
of Congress donation, which is of an unprecedented size
