I didn't hear from Bill, Bruce, and some of the other pros... This bird looks so much like the Red[-bellied Woodpecker, but it's a Golden-fronted Woodpecker. It's a female. Taken in Belize. Apparently the Belize population does not show the yellow like the ones we have out west. There are no Red-bellied Woodpeckers in Belize... If this bird was in my backyard I would say it was a Red-bellied WP, and I would be wrong... Thanks to all who paraticipated...
