CCC'ers:
Does anyone know whether an email address containing an underscore can
be shown as a HTML link, yet still show the underscore? I have several
users in this boat and since not everyone configures their web browser
to be their email package, people simply copy down what they can see of
the email address.
Obviously the person viewing it could view the source code, but that
isn't something I want to explain to the "public." I realize that
alternatively I could provide the email as plain text next to the link,
but that doesn't seem very efficient. Additionally, I suppose I could
request our members who have this issue to speak with their systems
administrators about replacing (or providing an alias) their email
address with one that has a dash rather than hyphen, but not sure I want
to get into all of that either.
TIA,
Barbara
