I'm working on the revisions to the brochure. Answers to your questions are as
follows:

1. Can a DL student just get a library card (as opposed to a university ID
card) so that they can access electronic resources remotely? DL students must have
a Rattler Card (University ID).

2. Do DL students need to reactivate their ID/library card? If so, how
often must they reactivate it? Also, is there a way to do this remotely,
via a web form, email, or telephone? Rattler cards are ready for use at the time
they are issued. If problems occur, the circulation desk should be contacted at
599-3376. Students can apply via mail to: Helen Eason, University Rattler Card
Office, G15 FHAC, Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, FL 32307 or via telephone:
(850) 599-3090. Currently there is no electronic method for applying.
