Today (Sunday, February 15) it was perched on the fence surrounding Ponderosa Pond, which is near the parking area. When it is not at the pond it can usually be seen along the Central Dike, which is about 75 yards beyond (north) the pond, and adjacent to the boat ramp. DIRECTIONS - From the intersection of US 441 and CR 252 (about one mile south of Lake City, in Columbia Co.) travel easterly on CR 252 for about two miles, to a traffic signal (CR 133, aka County Club Road). Turn north on CR 133 (County Club Road) and travel about 1.5 miles to the park entrance, which will be on the left (west). Follow the road to the main parking area, Ponderosa Pond is just beyond it, the boat ramp, another 75 yards.
