Dear all,

In March, a green male turtle (57kg, 84CCL) was stranded on the Israeli shoreline. A fishing line entangled on his front fin caused amputation of the fin, the fishing line was also in its digestive system. After care in the rescue center, the fishing line is finally out and the turtle - "Eli Marcus" is feeling great and gaining weight. "Eli" will be in rehabilitation for around 2 months and then released back to the Med. Sea.

I was wondering if anyone interested in connecting a satellite transmitter on it?

Other news from Israel...: Today we found and relocated the first nest of the season!
61 loggerhead eggs.

All the best

Yaniv
