Howdy Everybody,

 I appreciate the responses I got on the washed out looking Black Vulture. It appears just to be some substance he got on him. Nothing to do with genetics or plumage phase.
  I see they saw both Loons again this week at Sandpoint and Veteran's Park so I'll try again in the morning with my boat, and check every Loon out there until I find them.
