This is a little late in posting, but I saw a Mississippi Kite Thursday 
morning, May 22, over the pond behind my house.  It soared about for a 
while and flew south over I295.  This was about a mile west of the 
intersection with I95.  It is my first as a yard bird, and my first in 
the Jacksonville area.  Haven't seen it since.
