I like this feature also. Right now we add content to collections, then update web pages, then go somewhere else and post on the blog about it, etc. It really adds to a full loop to content creation and provides a nice experience for users.

I was not so concerned with the comments issue - I assume it can be moderated or turned off. That would be a good thing to check. I was more impressed by the ability to easily create new pages/content for the webpages associated with the collection.

Only if we have the option of editing and deleting. When I look at some of the comments people post on news sites....and I can just see an identification war from competing genealogists over a picture I put up!

One thing I noticed about Islandora is the Create Content tab in the sandbox where you can easily add information to your collection webpages. I don't think this is anything we have discussed in our requirements or really concerned ourselves with looking at, but it is a nice feature. Is anyone else interested in this type of functionality for the webpages that go along with your digital collections?

Page
A page, similar in form to a story, is a simple method for creating and displaying information that rarely changes, such as an "About us" section of a website. By default, a page entry does not allow visitor comments and is not featured on the site's initial home page.

Story
A story, similar in form to a page, is ideal for creating and displaying content that informs or engages website visitors. Press releases, site announcements, and informal blog-like entries may all be created with a story entry. By default, a story entry is automatically featured on the site's initial home page, and provides the ability to post comments.
