Announcing a post doc position in Carnegie Mellon's Computational
Analysis of Social and Organizational Systems Center (CASOS) in dynamic
network analysis. The postdoc will work with Dr. Kathleen Carley in the
area of dynamic networks using both social network and link analysis
techniques. This position involves strong collaboration with other
members of CASOS, involvement in team projects, and a focus on
real world applictions. This position is to examine issues of network
vulnerability and change using data already collected at CASOS, both
real and simulated. A strong background in network analysis and
statistics is required. Ideally the applicant would also be familiar
with C++ or java and SAS.

systems. The postdoc will work with Dr. Kathleen
Carley in the area of dynamic networks to design, build, test and utilize
improved visualization tools for dynamic network data. This position involves strong collaboration
with other members of CASOS, involvement in team projects, and a focus
on applied tool development and testing. A strong background in user interfaces,
network visualization, C++ and java is reequired.
