If anyone wants to work on it,
I have the second east york data set available, with distance between
network members' residences coded to 1/10th of a mile. (sorry folks, this
is pre-Cdn adoption of the metric system). SPSS labeled. Possible to study
frequency of phone, f2f contact + a variety of social support measrues,
plus tie strength and role relatoinship. See Wellman & Wortley, AJS 1990
and Wellman, Carrington and Hall 1988 (in Wellman & Berkowitz, Social
Structures) for details.
