Conference History

India 2010 is the third international conference in a successful series of EWRI-led developing nations conferences. The first was held in December 2006 in New Delhi, India and the second was recently held in January 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand. Each conference attracted over 200 attendees from 40+ different countries.

Conference Overview

India 2010 will consist of a three-day technical program, including an opening keynote session, a closing panel discussion session, and three concurrent technical session tracks in between the opening and closing sessions. The conference will also feature opportunities to participate in social and networking events.

The conference will cover a wide variety of topics related to water resources and the environment. While technical sessions will include topics on both developed and developing countries, much of the focus of this conference will be on water resources and the environment in developing countries, especially in Asia and Africa. The emphasis will be focused on global effect of regional issues and solutions. Participants, including paper presenters and attendees, will include engineers, scientists, planners, economists, and legal professionals from all over the globe.

We encourage you to forward this announcement to your friends and colleagues.

See you in Chennai!
